Seven working committees organise the Council’s operational work for the 2026–2027 academic term. Committee leadership will be announced.
Plans district-wide service projects, community engagement activities and approved collaborative initiatives across participating schools.
Advances student voice, welfare, academic development and appropriate support pathways while referring safeguarding matters to responsible adults.
Designs Council programmes, meetings, forums and approved events, including schedules, logistics and post-event review.
Manages approved public communications, branding, notices, social media, photography and accurate information sharing.
Supports budgeting, sponsorship proposals, fundraising initiatives, records and responsible resource planning through authorised procedures.
Coordinates leadership development, public speaking, representation, conflict resolution, civic engagement and capacity-building opportunities.
Supports governance development, meeting standards, accountability, policy review, conduct procedures and the future Council Constitution.
Committees research issues, develop proposals, carry out approved activities and report progress to the Executive and wider Council. Council-wide commitments, public statements, finance, external partnerships and safeguarding-related matters require the appropriate approval before implementation.
